Brief introduction to TMJ anatomy, function, and the spectrum of temporomandibular disorders, including pain, joint noises and movement limitations. Attendees will review clinical scenarios to identify perpetuating factors in complex TMJ cases and discuss multidisciplinary approaches to management, including physical therapy, behavioral interventions, and dental appliances.

By the end of the session, participants will better understand the interplay between ascending and descending factors in TMJ dysfunction and gain practical tools for assessment and management that can be applied in their own practice settings.

This session is designed to foster collaboration, deepen understanding and equip attendees with actionable strategies for addressing the complexities of TMJ dysfunction from a holistic perspective.
